The public exhibition of the draft Mosman Planning Agreements Policy has now closed.
The draft Mosman Planning Agreements Policy sets out the process for entering into a Planning Agreement with Council under section 93F of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (the Act), to ensure transparency, probity, certainty of roles and process.
A Planning Agreement is a voluntary agreement or other arrangement under section 93F of the Act between one or more planning authorities (i.e. Council) and a person (developer) made in conjunction with the development of land under which the developer agrees to make a development contribution or contributions towards a public purpose. This may be the dedication of land, payment of a monetary contribution, and/or provision of a material public benefit.
Submissions on the draft policy closed on 10 March 2016.
A post-exhibition report will be reported to Council within the next few months.
The draft policy and supporting material can still be viewed on Council’s consultation website
