Following a month of extensive community consultation a a report on the outcomes is now available.
The Report has been prepared focusing on the second phase of consultation –preliminary Spit Junction Masterplan and draft feasibility study of the Mosman Civic Centre sites.
The report captures the feedback from both traditional and online consultation.
The report contains a summary on each of the key ideas of the draft plan and study considered during the consultation period, comments received from the Mosman community (including local business operators) and the project team’s response to the community feedback.
The Appendix section of the report provides detailed feedback on the various other topics of discussion raised during the engagement period.
The project team is now working on incorporating the feedback and resolving issues with the draft Masterplan and feasibility study.
Council has asked the project team to prepare a second Option for the Civic Centre redevelopment proposal which sees the retention of the Village Green space and siting the residential component needed to fund the community facilities on an alternative space. This work has been commissioned as a response to the community concern of losing the Village Green and minimising the impacts on the Myahgah Road streetscape.
The final masterplan and feasibility study on the Civic Centre is due to be released later this year.
