Council’s Submission on a proposed State policy for the Environment

Mosman Council’s Urban Planning team recently submitted feedback to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment regarding a proposed Environment State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP).

The Department has released an Explanation of Intended Effect for the proposed Environment SEPP, which explains that it seeks to consolidate, centralise and update seven existing planning policies, to remove policy duplication and to streamline the planning framework.

The proposed SEPP will apply specifically to Mosman’s foreshore area and to remnant bushland in Mosman.
