Spit Junction masterplan: expressions of interest invited

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – SPIT JUNCTION MASTERPLAN AND MOSMAN CIVIC CENTRE SITE FEASIBILITY STUDY

Spit Junction (shown right) is Mosman’s primary business centre located around the busy intersection of Spit and Military Roads. The centre is occupied by a mix of business, residential and other land uses, including the Mosman Civic Centre site (map inset) comprising Council’s administration building, seniors centre and library.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are invited from suitably qualified and experienced consultants interested in tendering to prepare a masterplan for Spit Junction and a site feasibility study for the Mosman Civic Centre.

The consultant would also be required to develop and implement a community engagement plan to engage Mosman residents, business owners, workers and other stakeholders in preparation of these planning studies.

Information about this project is contained in the Consultant Brief (PDF 2MB).

Interested consultants are invited to submit an EOI which addresses:

  • Demonstrated capacity to respond to the consultant brief;
  • Consultation experience in undertaking similar projects;
  • Availability (it is anticipated the project would commence in September 2011 for a 9-12 month period);

Assessment of this criteria will determine which respondents may be invited to tender for the project.

Full contact details should be submitted including name, address, telephone number and email address of individuals, companies or organisations. In the case of companies and organisations, a principal contact should be nominated.

It is preferred that EOI’s are emailed to Council at council@mosman.nsw.gov.au.

Alternatively, EOI’s may be posted or hand delivered to Council:

Mosman Council
Mosman Square
PO Box 211
Spit Junction NSW 2088

EOI’s should be addressed to the General Manager and marked to the attention of Kelly Lynch, Project Coordinator, and are to be received by 4pm on Wednesday, 6 July 2011.

Enquiries should be directed to Kelly Lynch on 9978 4058 or 0419 784 058, or to Nazia Pokar on 9978 4094 or 0438 784 190.
